Time to break out the mittens and hats and lace-up those skates! Every year, San Francisco hosts a variety of holiday ice rinks, and all are ideal venues for glorious holiday skate time. Here are four of our favorites.

The Holiday Ice Rink at Embarcadero Center

Opening November 6, this annual ice rink is the perfect location for holiday fun. Apres skate, head over to one of the center’s many restaurants and shops to complete the day.  

Union Square Ice Rink

Another holiday tradition, this rink will also open on November 6 and will feature two opportunities to make some lasting holiday photo memories during skating sessions via Storibox and the Giga Selfie.

T-Mobile Winter Park at Civic Center

This rink will return for its second year beginning November 22 and features a delightful expanded track through a lighted forest. Loads of special events are on the agenda, including Learn to Curl and an exciting opening day ceremony.

Yerba Buena Skate Bowl

The Yerba Buena Skate Bowl offering year-round daily skating on an NHL sized rink with fun themed offerings, such as Frozen Fridays, 2000 Throwback Night, Rodeo Night, Game Night, and Techno Neon Night.
