March ushers in spring, along with a myriad of entertaining events and activities, and here are a few of our favorites. First, don’t miss the St. Patrick’s Day Parade on March 14, and the St. Patrick’s Day Festival at the Civic Center immediately following the parade. Next, head over to the SoMa StrEat Food Park on March 21-22 for The Great San Francisco Corn Dog Festival. These dogs are not your ordinary carnival fare. You’ll find unique twists to fancy them up, such as cochinita or elote dogs, hot and spicy Polish dogs, and dogs with kimchi batter, in addition to vegan and vegetarian options too.

You can also select from a menu of all-you-can-drink craft beer and groove to the live music of Great Big Cadillac. Don’t forget about dessert—the San Francisco International Chocolate Salon is on March 21 at the San Francisco County Fair Building. This all-day event will feature hundreds of artisan chocolatiers, irresistible samples, and appearances by celebrity chefs, along with spirits, local beer, and wine.
